LET’S BREW A FRENCH PRESS
What you need
8-cup French Press brewer
Water just shy of a boil (205°F)
8 tablespoons (56g) of coffee ground to a coarse sea salt consistency
A wooden spoon for mixing
A scale and timer if you like to be precise
Your favorite coffee cup
STEP ONE: Remove the plunger from your press and add your coffee.
STEP TWO: If you’re using a timer, start it now, and pour your water halfway up the press, making sure to cover all the grounds. Wait one minute and stir your grounds.
STEP THREE: Fill your press to the top, and carefully add the lid without pressing down. Wait three minutes for your coffee to brew.
STEP FOUR: Press the plunger all the way down.
STEP FIVE: Pour into your favorite mug, and enjoy!
